Taking its starting point from Phyllida Barlow's \u003ci\u003eObjects for a Library\u003c\/i\u003e (1995), the intervention Barlow made when the library first opened, the group placed sculptural gestures, objects and responses among the shelves and reading tables of one of the world's most significant sculpture libraries. The title refers to the three smallest bones in the human body, the hammer, anvil and stirrup of the inner ear, which the artists took as a way of describing their four months together: making and listening, impact and resistance, movement and connection.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDesigned by Ashleigh Armitage, with photographs by James Clarkson and texts by sculptor Olivia Bax and Jane Bhoyroo, Principal Keeper, Leeds Art Gallery, the publication is produced in an unbound edition of 100 copies with a hand screen-printed cover.
