Artists' Lives (No. 69)
Artists' Lives (No. 69)
Description
Artist's Lives is one of a number of projects run by the British Library's National Life Stories, a project committed to recording first-hand experiences from as wide a cross section of society as possible.
Cathy Courtney, Project Director of Artists’ Lives since its creation in 1990, presents a number of selected extracts here to demonstrate the depth and breadth of these recordings. Alongside, artist Alison Wilding and interviewers Mel Gooding (Writer and Chair of the Artists’ Lives Advisory Committee) and Kirstie Gregory (Research Programme assistant, the Henry Moore Institute) reflect on their experiences with National Life Stories.
There may be signs of age or yellowing to the pages as these are original copies from the publishing year. This is reflected in the pricing of the text.
