architecture, and how it is represented outside of itself,
about the house, and our relationship to it,
about moving round the house on a route or circuit,
about framing views within its architecture,
about a seemingly endless circularity.

Published to accompany the exhibition Belvedere (5 February 2000 - 29 April 2000, Galleries 1, 2 and 3), this slim catalogue contains an introduction by the show's curator Penelope Curtis, as well as short introductory texts on each of the exhibiting artists: Stephen Craig, Jan van de Pavert, Lucy Gunning, Gregor Schneider, Marijke van Warmerdam, and Alexander Morrison.
