Published on the occasion of Rob Ward's first retrospective of drawings, 1977-1987, and the showing of Epiphany: five drawings and five sculptures of 1988-1989 at Leeds City Art Gallery (8 June - 6 August 1989), organised by the Henry Moore Centre for the Study of Sculpture.

The text of this publication is based on an interview between the artist and Nigel Walsh (Exhibitions Officer, Leeds City Art Gallery), edited and expanded by Dr Terry Friedman (Principal Keeper, Leeds City Art Gallery and the Henry Moore Centre for the Study of Sculpture).
